The First Ponder Art Show

Ashleigh Neace, Reporter

On Thursday April 28th, Ponder High School held an amazing art show with several exhibits. It included pencil sketches, graphic art, watercolors, paintings, book jackets, sculptures, and more.  The visitor turnout was nothing less than spectacular. Aside from the exhibits, you could also buy a shirt to color or paint, take photos in photo cutouts, color pages, and do your own sketches. The artists’ guests were encouraged to fill out fan mail for the artists who had work that was particularly well received. Mrs. Brei stated that she had printed 200 that day and ran out before the show had even started due to the volume of kids in attendance. The 1st show was a huge success, and everyone should look forward to this becoming an annual thing.
