Senior Spotlight With Kelli Muncy

Mallorie Joplin, Reporter

Introducing Senior Kelli Muncy, or Kati. Kelli has attended Ponder for 8 years. Kelli loves eating at Cotton Patch or Chick-fil-a.  When she has some free time she likes to chill with some soft indie rock or pop music, the TV show New Girl, a John Green book, or a nice chick flick like Legally Blonde or Clueless.  Since being at Ponder, she has come to love choir class, and of course her teacher, Ms. DeHart.  Kelli’s dream car is one that runs and gets her from point A to point B, but her dream vacation is Switzerland.  This was planned in 8th grade with Kelsey Haynes, and they are sticking to the plan!  She would love to have the super power of talking to animals so she and her dog could gossip together.  And if she could be a character in any movie, show, or book, she would be a character on the show Queer Eye strictly for the free home renovation.  Her spirit animal is a deer because Carmen Mejia says she has “deer vibes”, and her theme song is “Sports” by Beach Bunny because it describes her.  Her 4 dinner companions would actually be 5 because as Mrs. J said, “That is sooooo Kelli. She has to be extra.”  So, her dinner companions are Sarah Lacy because she is the driver, Lorence Pugh, Olivia Rodrigo, and Kelsey and Carmen because they told her to include them.
