Senior Spotlight- Halim Rifai

Zoe Beaty, reporter

Halim has lived for  14 years in Ponder, and  some of his favorite places to go which include Portofino’s Italian Restaurant in Krum and Golden Chick.  When he has time to relax at home, he likes to watch movies and TV or read. Some of his favorites are the movie, Princess Mononoke, TV show, Mike Tyson Mysteries, and the book,  Animal Farm.  He really enjoys drama class with Mr. McNair and has participated in One Act Play to continue the experience.  He would love to play the character  Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul.  He would also like to have the power of animal shape shifting like Beast Boy, then he could turn into his spirit animal a fruit bat.  Some day he would love to own a classic Ford Mustang which he could cruise around in blasting his theme song, “Notion” by the Rare Occasions or any type pop punk, his favorite music.  He could cruise on to the airport and fly to his dream destination of Asia- yes, all of it- and embark on a tour of the country.   His ideal dinner companions would be quite interesting and full of interesting ideas ( and maybe some new ones) as it would consist of Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, and Isaac Newton.  Have a terrific senior year, Halim!
