Lady Lions Play Riveting Game In Whitesboro

Our Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball team gave it their all last night in Whitesboro. The game was suspenseful, with the Lady Lions winning the first two sets. The Whitesboro Bearcats came back and won the next two sets, with the scores being. It was a hard fight in the fifth set, with both teams trying their best to separate the score and win by a mere two points. In the end, Whitesboro came back and won the fifth set, rocketing them to their second win and a well-earned victory. Offensively, our Lion stat leaders were Philomina Klotz (15 kills, 1 ace, 1 block), Olivia Todd (8 kills, 3 blocks). Defensively, our stat leaders were Kaelyn McWilliams (17 digs, 2 aces), and Jasmine Taylor (6 kills, 14 digs). Our Lions are now 4-4 in district. Support them on Friday versus Boyd at 4:30.
