Pep It Up!

Ponder High School’s first pep rally of September was an even bigger hit than we could’ve ever imagined! Hosted by Juke Kelly, the whole crowd was hyped for our upcoming win for that night. The stands were filled to the edges with Ponder Pride!

The crowd was growing with enthusiasm as the Ponder Drill & Cheer Teams hyped our stands up with their dances and chants.

For the games, three people from each class were brought to gym floor to compete for a CLASS WIN! One person from each team would stand still as their teammates wrapped them with streamers, the Sophomores took the W, Anna Glisson was wrapped head-to-toe with streamers.

Our Ponder Varsity Boys entertained the audience with their beautiful solo karaoke performances by Trey Kysiak singing Ain’t No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Steven Carmoana singing Old Town Road by Little Nas X, Blake Wood singing Party in the U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus, and Clifton Cooper singing Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. Clifton took the win home for this game, winning a famous bucket of cheese balls!

In all, for the first pep rally of September was A GREAT HIT!
