The Ponder JV Lions two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as they defeated Pilot Point 5-2 on Friday. Ty Drager struck out #2 to get the last out of the game. In the first inning, Ponder got their offense started when Drager doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.  Wallace got the start for the Lions, and  the southpaw allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking one.  Drager, Jayden Baxter, and Connor Brown all had one hit to lead the team. Ponder tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases with Cooper Reynolds leading the way with three.
