Senior Spotlight With Jackson Long

Kelli Muncy, Reporter

To start the New Year off, we’re shifting the spotlight over to Jackson Long! Jackson has attended Ponder for 5 years, and has gained the nickname “Action Jackson”. In his spare time, you may catch Jackson watching his favorite show, Yellow Stone, or his favorite movie, Talladega Nights. If not there, you may want to try Texas Roadhouse, which is his favorite restaurant, or he may even be driving around with his friends. When Jackson was younger, he wanted to be a veterinarian, but decided that a master welder would be the best career choice for him. If he were to ever be on a deserted island, the one person he would want with him is his fiancee, Baylie. If he ever were to win the lottery, he would put 50% into savings, give 10% to his church, and another 10% to various charities. He would also use the money to pay off any debt he owes, as well as buy his family their dream houses/cars. He may even have enough left over to take skydiving lessons, which is something Jackson has always wanted to do. If he could change one thing about Ponder, it would be a machine shop that was open for public use. Have a great rest of your senior year, Jackson!
