PHS Seniors Give Back to Community

Mrs. Josselet, adviser

Each year, Miss Mary Koleber presents the service cord program to incoming freshmen.  Basically the student commits to accumulating a set number of volunteer hours in order to qualify for special award at graduation.  This year’s senior class did not disappoint Miss K, as they accumulated a total of 3,565 total volunteer hours!   Senior Cody Luoma wasn’t apart of the program, but he managed to volunteer 304 hours on his own.  What a wonderful program and a great group of kids giving back to those in need.  A fine example for the rest of the world, and a very appropriate tale for these unprecedented times.  Thank you to all those in the PHS Service Cord Program for all your hard work!
