Football Comes to a Finish

Claire Porter, Reporter

For the final football game of the season, our Ponder Lions faced the Whitesborro Bearcats. Although it was a defeat,  history was rewritten. During the second quarter Terrance Clark picked up a bad snap in the back of the end zone and threw it to Hunter Green who ran untouched for 98 yards to score a touchdown. This was the longest pass play in school history! On top of that amazing play, it was also senior night for many of our players, band members, and cheerleaders. Thank you for making this season amazing and good luck for whatever the future may hold.
