The Ponder Lions High School Bass Team competed at the State Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, May 11th and 12th. This tournament was held at Cedar Creek Lake, which is southeast of Dallas. This tournament was a two day tournament, and the two teams that competed were made up of Cole Moynagh and Bryce Brockett, and Cole Ivans and Logan Ivy. The team of Cole Moynagh and Bryce Brockett finished 44th out of 283 teams overall, with a day one weight of 7.98 on the first day, and 9.78 on the second day. This gave them a two day total weight of 17.76 lbs, and they were 11.53 out of the lead. The team of Cole Ivans and Logan Ivy fished hard, but were unable to weigh in a fish at this tournament. Congrats on the entire bass team for a great season!
