Just this Tuesday, March 26th, the high school choirs attended their scheduled UIL performances.

The Women’s Choir received high ratings and had an exceptional performance. With their director, Mrs. Lavacek, having been extremely proud of their first UIL performance, she stated they had, “performed better than I’ve ever heard them sing this whole year – what a great experience to have your best performance on stage in a high-pressure situation!” They also had to sight read 3 entirely different parts of music at the same instant and were very confident and successful. Congratulations girls!

The mixed Varsity Choir were given the highest ratings you can receive at UIL on their practiced performance as well as their sight reading! Mrs. Lavacek is so happy to have seen her students work so hard this year and is looking forward to the concerts and performances to come!

Please don’t forget to congratulate your fellow choir peers!
