The last nine weeks of school is officially here and with everything going on here at Ponder High School, here’s a list of dates and helpful information to keep you in the loop with this busy time of year.

With the end of the school year coming up, exemptions and exam periods will soon begin.

As a reminder, if you have 2 absences with at least an 80% average in all of your classes, you are exempt from taking the exams. Similarly, if you have 3 absences but at least an 90% average in all of your classes, you are exempt as well. If you exceed any of these exceptions you are not exempt from the exams, and you must show up to school on the days exams are being held to make up for what you missed.

On Friday, March 29th and April 19th school will not be in session due to a bad weather day.

Senior exams are approximately scheduled for May 15th – 17th.

**Seniors will also have a senior meal, breakfast, and a day off  (typically referred to as a skip day) after the breakfast and graduation practice that will be scheduled at a later date.

Exams for everyone else will be on May 22nd and 23rd with the 23rd being and early release day.
