The Ponder Lions lost a tough game last Friday, November 2nd, against the Whitesboro Bearcats. The Bearcats had a total of 49 points to the Lions 0. The Ponder Lions had a total of 55 rushing yards led by Chase Taylor and Terrence Clark who combined for 47 yards. Your quarterback Mason Durrett threw for 9 attempts with 4 completed for a total of 29 receiving yards to Oscar Martinez, Terrence Clark, and Carlos Zepeda. The Lions had a total of one turnover and eight punts with a combined total of 84 yards.  The season wasn’t what the Lions hoped for,  and they graduate some great seniors who gave it their all this season- Mason Durrett, Carlos Zepeda, Caden Doolittle, Justin Davis, Caleb Howell, Ben Chocano, Darren Kelly, Tyler Yeck, and Peyton Meroney.  Thanks for the memories, guys!
