The Lions weren’t able to pull an upset off on Tuesday, April 3rd against the Gunter Tigers. Freshman, Zach Clark, started the game on the mound for the Lions. Later, Payton Smith, Ryan Guzman, and Bryce Brockett came in to pitch. He threw a good game despite giving up 5 runs in his first varsity start. Jack Dow, Logan Ivy, and Ben Rogers led the Lions offense. Towards the end of the game, the Lions began to pick up the offense, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Tigers. The Tigers won 17-4. The Lions will be traveling to S&S on Friday, April 7th to take on the Rams. Come out and support the Lions as they play for another district win!
