Mr. Squires is the newest teacher on the block. He has been teaching for 8 years at different schools. He taught at several different universities in north and northeast China. His wife, Charis, also known as  张铭轩 in Chinese, is from Inner Mongolia, China. She speaks 3 languages: Chinese, English, and French. His son, Cohen, is 3 and a half years old. His favorite aspect of teaching is seeing both academic and holistic growth in students. He is most excited to see all the skills, strategies, and content both he and his students will learn. He is also looking forward to seeing the smiles and relief on his students when they graduate and continue on with the next chapter of their life. A quote that sums up his personality is from his favorite movie, The Blues Brothers, and this quote is “It’s a 106 miles to Chicago…”
