The Ponder Lions put up a good fight against the Brock Eagles but fell short Friday Night. The leading rushers for the Lions were Mason Durrett, Kaden McEwen, and Carlos Zepeda. Mason Durrett had a total of 107 rushing yards to lead the team’s total of 175 total yards on the ground. In the air, Mason Durrett had a total of 23 passing yards with 2 passing completions to Carlos Zepeda. Total time of possession for the Lions was 28:52 with 11 first downs, good for a total of 198 yards combined in the air and on the ground. The Lions are home this week, October 20th, against the Boyd Yellowjackets. Come out and support them to a victory over the Jackets!
