The Lions lost a tough one last Friday, September 29th. The Santo Wildcats took the game from the Lions. The Wildcats scored 25 to the Lions 8 points. The Lions had a total of 190 rushing yards on 27 carries led by Kaden McEwen with 100 yards, Carlos Zepeda with 48, and Mason Durrett with 42. The Ponder quarterback, Mason Durrett, had a total of 19 passing yards on 12 attempts. The Lions had a total of 10 first downs with 3 turnovers, 3 punts, and a total of 18 minutes and 57 seconds. The Lions had a total of 209 yards. The Lions are off this Friday, October 5th, but come out the following week to cheer on the Lions as they play our rivalry the Brock Eagles on October 13th!
